I love cutting edge tools and technologies which is why I was so excited to learn about Fireside a new kid on the block founded by billionaire Mark Cuban. I received my invite to join back in March and have thoroughly enjoyed watching the platform grow.  In a nutshell, it’s a group of a few hundred early adopters, mostly podcasters, radio and tv people who share an interest in honest, civil discourse.

Hosts can talk with their audience by bringing them up on “stage” like Clubhouse but it seems they are growing it very intentionally as to maintain integrity.  Another fun feature for audience members is that they can share the conversation live with their own social media outlets but the best part is the sound effects like applause, laughter and others giving realtime feedback.
